🌿 A Quiet Morning With Poppy: Little Moments That Heal Big Feelings


This morning in Poppy’s Burrow felt a little different — softer, slower, and exactly what my heart needed.


Life has been heavy lately, and sometimes it feels like everything hits at once… sick pets, long nights, stress piling higher than I can breathe through. But today, in the middle of all that noise, Poppy offered me something I’ve been needing more than I realized:


A moment of peace.

A moment of grounding.

A moment where things felt light again.


I sat down on the floor with her greens, expecting her usual excited hops — but today she did something else. She eased herself into my lap, leaned her soft little head into my hand, and just… exhaled.


And so did I.


There’s something magical about the way animals know.

They feel our storms before we even name them.

They offer comfort without expecting anything back.

They don’t try to fix us — they just sit with us while we heal.


As she crunched away on her green leaf lettuce, I realized how much this tiny Holland Lop has already woven herself into my emotional world. She’s become my little anchor — a reminder that gentle moments matter just as much as the big ones.


Sometimes healing doesn’t look like grand breakthroughs.

Sometimes it looks like a bunny happily eating her greens while you remember how to breathe.


So today’s entry is simply gratitude.

For Poppy.

For her calm energy.

For the grounding she brings into days that feel heavy.

For the reminder that little moments can heal big feelings.


And for the quiet reassurance that even when life feels overwhelming…
