This morning, Poppy reminded me — again — that healing doesn’t always arrive in big, dramatic ways. Sometimes it’s soft ears. Slow munches. And the steady rhythm of a tiny bunny enjoying her greens.


Today’s greens were a mix of green-leaf lettuce and kale (her new obsession). She approached her bowl with that delicate little hop she does, ears forward, nose twitching faster than my heartbeats. And as soon as she settled in, everything around me went quiet.


There is something deeply grounding about watching a rabbit eat — the focus, the calm, the presence. Poppy doesn’t rush. She doesn’t worry about yesterday or tomorrow. She just exists in the moment… something I’m learning from her every single day.

Watching her enjoy her breakfast felt like a reminder:
